OHI works with your team to provide customized UXO support to ensure your project is conducted safely.  We start by reviewing the project specifications and recommend staffing levels to support your project in the field.

Once the specifications are defined, OHI will screen the work force from our database of hundreds of qualified personnel. Our UXO technicians are well experienced often exceeding the qualifications defined in Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board (DDESB) Technical Paper 18 (TP-18)-.

We also ensure that all staff meet OSHA hazardous waste operator requirements and follow OHI’s standard operating procedures which are based upon U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) guidance including Engineer Pamphlet 75-1-2, Munitions and Explosives of Concern Support During Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste and Construction Activities and EM 385-1-97, Explosives – Safety and Health Requirements Manual.

FORT Sill, OK – UXO Staffing Support

Under a multi-year Base Operating Agreement (BOA) with a large business environmental firm, OHI provides UXO Technicians and support staff on an as-needed basis.  OHI’s UXO staff provided on-site UXO Technician Level 2 personnel to perform UXO escort support on an operational range in support of an environmental study.  OHI’s staff reported to the prime’s field manager providing UXO support in accordance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) policy and guidance including Engineer Pamphlet (EP) 75-1-2, “Munitions and Explosives of Concern Support During Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste and Construction Activities”.

The project involved multiple deployments over a two-year period.  OHI maintained flexibility to meet changing schedules due to live fire schedules. For more information on OHI’s / UXOEscorts.com staffing service, please contact Jenna at (443) 857-7474 (cell) or email: jenna@uxoinfo.com.
